Port Stephens to Craven

Another beautiful ferry ride across Port Stephens takes the Federation Track to Tea Gardens. A short walk to Hawks Nest follows and the Track then follow the remains of the Tops to Myall Track through Myall Lakes National Park with its huge paperbarks, cabbage tree palms swamp lilies and spectacular sunsets across the Broadwater. At Myall Lakes the track heads north through spectacular forests of Blackbutts, Turpentines and Flooded Gums and past the ruins of the historic Wootton Tramway to the Little Myall River

The route then folows the Little Myall River up to Euther Ridge with its stunning panorama across the headwaters of the Myall River and Waukivory Creek before dropping down through The Glen Nature Reserve to Craven in the Gloucester Valley.
